I love to help organizations by understanding their unique accounting and advisory needs and tailoring my approach to each client.
Amanda specializes in nonprofit accounting and CFO services, with specific experience in the education sector and independent schools.
She brings extensive expertise in nonprofit audit management, including GAAP, GAAS, and GAGAS compliance, and offers guidance in budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, and board and committee interfacing.
Amanda takes a tailored approach to every organization she serves. After assessing its structure, she adapts the accounting function to fit its unique needs, because she knows one size never fits all.
Passionate about the “why” behind the numbers, Amanda enjoys digging into complex accounting rules and translating what they mean in practice. She sees standards as a powerful framework for consistency and accountability and loves helping clients understand and apply them correctly.
Her goal is to ensure leaders feel confident in their financial information and analysis, empowering them to make decisions with clarity and assurance.
Amanda believes in making people feel valued—whether she’s volunteering her expertise on a board, listening closely to clients and colleagues, or baking cookies to brighten a friend’s day. She looks for meaningful ways to support others in whatever journey they’re on.
She loves to read and finds inspiration in two of her favorite quotes: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” (Lord of the Rings – Tolkien) and “Remember, you’re the one who can fill the world with sunshine.” (Snow White – Disney)
