TAX SERVICES

Nonprofit | Small Businesses

Above all, I view my role as a trusted advisor invested in my clients’ long-term success. I believe in delivering accuracy along with exceptional client service. My approach centers on being proactive, responsive, and reliable so that clients feel supported and confident in every decision they make.

Eric specializes in tax services for nonprofits and small businesses, offering the technical expertise and steady guidance organizations need to stay compliant and thrive.

For exempt organizations, he brings deep mastery of Form 990, 990-EZ, and their related schedules, ensuring accurate reporting and the transparency stakeholders expect.

His work is grounded in a strong command of exempt-organization tax law, including IRC §501(c) classifications, public support tests, UBIT, and the rules governing lobbying and political activity. He also manages IRS and state compliance from end to end and stays current with changing tax regulations affecting nonprofits.

For small businesses, Eric focuses on the full landscape of pass-through entities. He advises on entity selection and structure, navigates basis rules and allocation mechanics, and handles complex return preparation and review for S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and sole proprietorships. His experience includes multi-owner and tiered entities, business acquisitions and sales, and the nuanced technical issues that come with growth. He also supports clients with multistate compliance, composite filings, and nexus considerations as their operations expand.

He’s known for streamlining processes while meeting tight deadlines. Beyond compliance, he acts as a trusted advisor helping clients understand their financial picture and make strategic decisions.

Eric became an accountant because he’s always been drawn to structure, problem-solving, and helping others make sense of complex information. Accounting allows him to combine his attention to detail and efficiency with a desire to make a tangible impact helping individuals and organizations stay compliant, make smart decisions and achieve their goals.

Outside the Office

When he’s not working, Eric enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their French Bulldog. He loves being outdoors, whether that’s golfing, playing softball with friends, or spending a day out on the water. These moments help him recharge, stay balanced, and bring fresh energy and perspective to his work.

His favorite way to give back in the community is by serving the many nonprofits he works with every day. He takes pride in easing the financial and compliance burdens that can overwhelm them, allowing their teams to stay focused on advancing their mission and creating positive change. Supporting their impact through sound financial guidance is one of the most rewarding parts of his job.
