Jerry has worked in Public Accounting for over 25 years, including a tax position at KPMG Peat Marwick in Seattle. Prior to joining Greenwood Ohlund, he operated his own public accounting firm for over nine years.

Jerry's concentration has been in the Federal and State tax area for small- to medium-sized businesses, individual taxation, and estates. He prefers to be proactive in tax advice and business consulting, emphasizing owners working on their business instead of in their business.

Jerry consults with businesses and provides recommendations to enhance overall performance, and increase cash flow and profitability. For some clients, Jerry acts as a part-time CFO on a month-to-month basis, reviewing accounting reports and discussing with management the company's financial strengths and weaknesses.

Jerry believes in this current economy many businesses could save money and increase profit by utilizing a reliable and knowledgeable CPA on a part-time basis in place of a full-time CFO.

Jerry has lived in Seattle his entire life. He earned his Masters in Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University in August of 2007. He received his B.S. in business from the University of Washington in 1982, his A.A. from Shoreline Community College, and a concentration in accounting from Seattle Pacific University.
